With 25 years of experience in driving large-scale transformation programmes, we know that there is no silver bullet. Each transformation operates within a specific context preventing a âone size fits allâ approach. Therefore, your chance for success is closely linked with your ability to implement practices tailored to your specific context. Everything you do must aim to reduce programme complexity and increase transformation predictability.
Our framework for driving transformation programmes â Implement TPM â enables exactly that and thus unlocks the full transformation potential. It ensures an equal focus on what we believe are the three core dimensions of any transformation: Build for High Impact, Drive Progress, and Engage to Change. Each of these dimensions consists of three underlying objectives which, if achieved, will reduce complexity, increase predictability, and ultimately improve the likelihood of success.

To improve efficiency and ensure standardised execution across the programme, Implement was asked to help enhance the capabilities of their Global PgMO, which oversees several large-scale CAPEX projects.
The engagement involved a comprehensive assessment that identified several concrete improvement initiatives, which were subsequently designed, developed, and implemented. Through these initiatives, essential programme management structures were established, such as governance, programme performance reporting, master schedule management, and change control â all defined in a comprehensive CAPEX execution playbook.
The bullet train project in Denmark involves over 100 participants and includes the procurement of driverless trains, as well as the transfer of operational responsibility from the infrastructure provider to the railway operator. Implement has taken over programme coordination, planning, and organisation within a joint venture, conducting various individual projects such as IT, safety, training, and organisational analyses. The project aims to centralise responsibilities by 2027 and introduce driverless trains by 2029, with a budget of approximately DKK 20 billion (approx. âŹ2.7 billion).
Implementâs support has resulted in a sustainable programme organisation with efficient processes, ensuring resilience and staff engagement throughout the transition.
A global product manufacturer launched a new corporate strategy to grow the business by enhancing customer experience and simplifying product installation. Implement designed and managed the transformation programme to deploy the new service offering across multiple markets. This involved establishing programme governance, staffing, processes, tools, and organisational setup, along with training relevant personnel.
The programme successfully went live in seven countries, achieving a customer satisfaction score of 4.5 out of 5 in its first 12 months, ensuring optimal execution and deployment of the new service concept.
A client faced challenges in executing transformational programmes due to high staff turnover, outsourcing, and dependency on key personnel. Implement was tasked with designing a transformation approach and project methodology focused on customer needs, aimed at re-energising change activities and ensuring successful execution. A pilot programme was initiated to improve the order-to-cash (O2C) process, addressing customer pains and implementing changes using agile methods.
The approach included revisiting strategy, outlining change requirements, and instating a customer-driven mindset, significantly improving the customer experience and organisational capabilities.
A global port network operator needed to address challenges with their outdated ERP system. Implement led an ERP transformation project, deploying a single cloud ERP solution, IFS10, across four functional areas. The programme involved over 250 resources and focused on standardising processes, enhancing transparency, and improving efficiency in data management, finance, procurement, asset maintenance, and inventory.
Change management activities increased user adoption and system understanding. The project resulted in reduced costs, improved stakeholder satisfaction, and a more efficient and streamlined ERP system, driving operational excellence and increased local ownership.
